On October 9, 2023, the 17th Asian Logic Conference was held in Tianjin, hosted by Nankai University. The opening ceremony was attended by Yulu Chen, President of Nankai University, Shuangying Lu, a first-level inspector of the Tianjin Association for Science and Technology, and Fuzhou Gong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Mathematical Society, and a researcher at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Nearly 200 experts and scholars from more than 20 countries and regions participated in the conference.
The 17th Asian Logic Conference was held in Tianjin on October 9, 2023, hosted by Nankai University. The conference featured the following topics: (1) recursion theory, (2) set theory, (3) model theory, and (4) philosophical logic. Experts from the field of mathematical logic from both China and abroad were invited to give keynote speeches on the above topics.
The conference also invited Professor Feng Qi to give a popular science report for the China Mathematical Society and the Academic Lecture of Jiang Lifu.
With the consent of the speakers, the video recordings of the reports were uploaded to the “Nankai Logic” channel on Bilibili, and everyone is welcome to watch.
